Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a nurse led advice line or go online at http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/ . Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
GP OUT OF HOURS
An Out of Hours Doctor Service (Go-to-Doc, Ashton) is available between 6.30pm to 8.00am for emergencies. (0161 336 3465). Advice given over the phone. Appointments made and home visits made if condition needs it.
ASHTON PRIMARY CARE CENTRE
The GP Service walk in centre at Ashton Primary Care Centre - the new building opposite LIDL supermarket is open every day from 8am to 8pm. Tel: 0161 342 7052.
