Problem sorted quickly

UPDATE: I recently left a review regarding my disappointment regarding my prescription being rejected. The surgery quickly rectified the problem and I would like to thank the surgery for acting so quickly. It was rather upsetting as I have always been pleased with everyone there before. I understand how difficult things are with the NHS at present, and rules have to be obeyed, but I have never had this issue before. Thank you again for your immediate response. My trust in the surgery is now rectified.

Disappointed. I have been a patient at Lambgates for over 25 years and have always been impressed with the staff and treatment, but unfortunately I am worried and feel very let down as a request for an urgent prescription was rejected. My medication needs to be carefully checked regularly as it can be dangerous to overdose, or not take enough. Also, the test strips requested have a use by date and the machine rejects out of date test strips, so need to be used within a limited time (within a few months). I do not waste the surgery's time and check my INR myself at home, every week and sometimes twice when keeping my INR within range. I purchased an expensive machine (with permission from Lambgates) so was upset and stressed when my prescription request was rejected, without any explanation! Occasionally there can be an error with the test, or my INR needs to be checked again a few days later. So I use extra strips. I need to request a prescription early to give the Pharmacy enough time to order them and have in stock. Its such a shame that a normally well run and efficient Health Centre has been let down by something like this.

Excellent Nurses

A very efficient service. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and competent.
One gets a feeling of confidence in their work.

Great practice

Always treated with respect and helpful doctor and staff. Feel like you really matter to them. The person I saw has followed my progress and helped me with any problems. Usually fairly easy to get appointments.
